In this episode, Viktor Pylypenko is our guide to understanding where LGBTIQ+ rights stand in Ukraine today. Viktor bravely serves in the Ukrainian army, showing up as his authentic, gay self. The NGO he co-founded, “LGBTIQ+ Military Veterans for Equal Rights,” supports a community of over 700 members.
Alongside his military service, Viktor and his peers work to advance civil rights and make sure equality remains part of the conversation about Ukraine’s future.
