In April 2025 I arrived in Ukraine in search of a purpose.
What I discovered was a nation at the epicenter of the global struggle for democracy — and a people committed to solving impossible problems because their lives depend on it.
Over the past year, Ukrainians have embraced me, shared their rich culture, and trusted me with their deepest stories of hardship and hope.
In Kyiv, I haven’t just found a project. I have found a home.
As for my purpose? I’m here to cultivate the world’s interest in Ukraine by documenting the people shaping Ukrainian business, politics, and culture.
Today, that purpose becomes a reality.
